A Bored Vacation....

                Guys! How are you all doing in this vacation period? Well, hope you all are freaked out. Even I'm so bored because these days life is full of homework sent by social media and online classes day and night. When we are at school I can remember one day me and my friends discussed how fun it will be if we can learn online at home without coming to the school for the entire school life. But now I realized that it is so bored learning without seeing your teacher and friends faces live and learning together as a group and learning with fun together. But this time it is as homeschooling.Can you guys remember if you are a Sri Lankan school student, how you got happy and cheered when the school annoncended on the 12 of March The April vacation  starts from today? Actually even I can remember how we were joyful. But now we are impatient until the school starts to meet our friends after 3 months. I'm waiting until that day. So, I thought of writing a poem about this period. 

We were having a chat at school

Suddenly it announced, vacation of school

We were all hurried as fools

Cheering with happiness and being cool

We were happy when we heard the news

But now we are bored being at home

Homework, classes are not few

I wish the school will start soon

Not going out, all prohibited things

I wish to have freedom and fly with wings

Feels like I am trapped, tied with a string

Want to go school, have fun and learn things

 

I'm expecting your ideas about this homeschooling, boring time  and about my ideas. And me and all the people who read this blog may like to know what type of creative, stupid, fun,  things and inventions you did these days.

A birthday comes once a year

Which fades all your sorrow and fear

And brings your loved people near

With glowing candles and soft cheer

Not in L.A but at home

No matter an arrival of rain or storm

Love is given to all of you

When a birthday is passing through

Candles to make your wishes come true

Blow it once so they'll be true

Share a cake with your loved once

Make your spirits the greatest once

Just Can do it!

Hi! All of my blog fans world widely , how are you all? I hope you all are doing well during this virus pandemic. 

After a long time with you guys! 

When you got the message of the closing of schools I'm sure you all cheered with laughter. Even me and my friends who waited for a holiday to go on a trip, not as this! But now I'm so bored  without hanging out with my friends.

I'm sure you all are bored and fed up with online lectures and towers of homework. 

So, today I have some fun things to do on these holidays.

 1)  Write a book

        If you are a literature lover this is the best time to make your own creation. Maybe it is a novel, poem book, translation, short stories, biography, fiction etc..        

Step 1 - Think of a category as novel, fiction translation or what ever category of   your choice        

Step 2 - Think of the theme of the book. Maybe adventure, romance, comedy etc      

  Step 3 - Start to write the book with all content, introduction and create!   

   Finally if you think it is successful, after this virus pandemic publish and share it to the whole world ! 

2) Make a collection

   All of us are interested and favoured for something. Maybe about nature, fashion, celebrities, sports etc. To make this boredness go away you can make a collection of your interested field.

Step 1- Think of what or whom you are interested

  Step 2-  Collect photographs and information about your field.

                    

 Finally when you are sad or alone you can be happy by observing your collection!

3) Organize a special dinner with family

 We all like to have a special happy time with our family. Between this social distancing situation the bond between the family is increased. Dinner time is a best time for your family get together

 

    Step 1- Make a special dinner than usual with a different recipe.You can have a guidance from recipe books, internet etc.

 

 Step 2- Arrange your table creatively with food and drinks and make it more attractive.

Step 3 - Switch off lights and light on candles and make it a "CANDLE LIGHT DINNER"

Finally ,You can have a fun time with your family in the candle light which feels your mind relax

4) Have a group chat

 In this time period you are unable to hang out with your friends. Maybe you are doing it right now. 

Step 1 - Create your group in any social media

Step 2 - Name it attractively

Step 3- Start a chat with text, stickers, gifs and many more

Finally, You can feel your friends are with you
 

5) Play dress up

   This is a fun activity everybody like to do, specially girls of course! If you have any siblings it will be much more fun and can act even a drama with this costumes.

Step 1-  Select your costume suit for any theme as a character in a fairy tale, a horrific character or just wearing a fashionable outfit. If you don't have the ideal costume connect some accessories in your house and make it up!

            Eg-  Make fairy wings from cardboards

Step 2- Wear it and have a make up.

Step 3- If you can, make your background suits to your costume

     Eg- If you are dressed as a fairy make the background as a fairy land

Step 4- Create a drama suits to your costume and act out

Finally, you'll feel like being in another world
